School Door Repairs with Wrap-around Cover Plates

Here are a few repairs that we’ve recently done.

Tough application since this door opens outwards.

The wrap-around cover plates that WE use have tapped holes for the screws. 

Wow! This door almost couldn’t be repaired . . .

We moved the deadbolt higher, and the door was saved once again.

Not much wood left on this door, but it was still fixable!

Not perfect, because the plate’s screw holes extend beyond the door style. Still, better than having to replace and paint the door.
